I'm looking at doing flight training in New Zealand after being done over by a sausage factory in Australia (the instructors are great, but the management may as well be bankers.
I have my PPL and I'm looking to study Diploma of Aviation (Aeroplane) and complete my CPL in NZ.
I'm looking for flight training organizations that is approved for Student Loans (I'm dual AU/NZ citizen) around Auckland area and have shortlisted some including:
Southern Wings - most preferable at the moment
Ardmore Flying School (been recommended against)
Other FTO's I'm considering outside of Auckland area are:
Mainland Air
Nelson Aviation College
Int. Aviation Academy of NZ (IAANZ)
Ideally I'd want to do the DipAv Airline strand that includes CPL, MEIR, MCC and ATPL theory. My plan is to do my training there, come back to Australia and convert CAA licenses to CASA.
If anyone has any experience with any of these FTOs or can recommend other ones, please let me know what your thoughts are.
