Hello all,

I am hoping to start on a distance learning HND in Aeronautical Engineering in the near future. Having been out of education for a while now, does anyone have any advice or experience to offer with regards to a distance learning HND? I have read on some of the forums that Engineering Mathematics by K.A Stroud (a book in which I already own but has been gathering dust) is a must. Any other reading recommendations?

Many thanks!

Definitely Stroud.

Maybe "Introduction to Flight" by Anderson, which most universities are using for 1st and often 2nd year studies now.

Thanks for the book suggestion Genghis, I will certainly look into that.

Which programme? I am looking at a couple of US ones, more on the management track though.

The particular course I am looking at is run by Yeovil College. I have spoken to one other who has done this course offered by Yeovil and it comes highly recommended.
