Hey Guys,

just a question, maybe someone here has a good idea:

I love flying, but also looove F1. How to combine those 2? Is there a private company out there, that does most of the F1 contracts for F1 teams?

any thoughts?

I believe Paul Stoddart, former owner of the now defunct Minardi team, actually had his own 747 to fly him from race to race. Mainly so he could smoke on board……..

I can't be sure but I believe Formula 1 Limited have their own aircraft, either a BAe 146 or RJ100.

The cars and pit furnishings fit inside a 146?

Looks like its DHL that currently does the logistics flying.

Work for one of the teams rather than for F1 themselves. Most of them use Air Partner or similar.

You could try Thomas Cook Sport, Thomson Sport, BAC Sport, Sport Options to name a few who all do F1 packages.. The F1 146 based at Biggin Hill is used by the big cheese's of F1 so doubt you would get a seat on that. Hope this helps.

There's presently a B737 in Liege with F1 titles.

There is a specialist tour operator (cant remember what it is called), but it does most F1 travel for the teams.

Done a few flights to GP weekends with team management/engineers and press on board...

Baku & Sochi mostly...private charter airline, and think it was through AirPartner!
