If this has been posted before then I do apologise, this is an excellent day out for all the family, run by mostly ex RAF volunteers who are just the most helpful and knowledgeable people going. There are 2 sessions running at different times during the day focusing on cold war and battle of britain, most fascinating it is too. They also have some rooms dedicated to Coltishall with a lot of memorabilia year books etc.

They are a self funded organisation and deserve a great deal of support, I was there last week for the first time, and been a long time lurker on here so just wanted to try and help them as I am sure there will be a lot of folks on here that knew the base when it was operational. It is though a bit of a bugger to find!!

Yes, my family and I have been twice, it is extraordinarily good, up with other great experiences such as the FAA Museum at Yeovilton and Bletchley Park.

Not all radar related - they have the Victor K2 simulator cockpit there which used to be at Marham.

Yes they have and also a Jaguar cockpit that you can actually sit in. Will be going again next time we visit Norfolk, can also recommend the viewing area and bacon buttie van at Lakenheath on the way home.
