Chaps,

I've had an invite to attend the workshop day at Luton but know little about the orange job.

How much do they pay?
How hard do you work?
Can you recommend it?

Thanks. Look forward to lots of replies from pukka eJ fellows.

MDLU, yes it is to be recommended. But that is obviously relative to what you're doing now rather then a blunt statement.

The pay is good, a payrise to get level with the new Ryanair pay-deal is in the minds of management, or so we are told.

Regarding how hard you have to work, we operate using the CAP as a reference for crewing and are therefore in a situation where across the range of pilots the average number of hours (block) is usually about 60-80 a month. This includes on average 4-6 nightstops or slit duties every month.

I was wondering about easyJet in Geneva, do you go through the London selection or is it done in house in Switzerland?
Any info would be appreciated.
Many thanks

Any more of you out there?

I am particularly interested in number of sectors per day and working days per month (on average!)

Skyjob - what are these 'slit duties' of which you write? Sounds very interesting, is it some sort of CRM thing with your Cabin Crew?
