I have heard bad things about Airbus and 747 schedules.

Also heard that the 777 fleet has better schedules but are there some bases that have much worse schedules than others and how do they compare to HKG based 777 or is it all pretty much the same.

Anyone who joined CX since they slashed experience requirements 7 years ago.

The Senior Management. They seem to be able to give themselves obscene bonuses, even though everything is falling apart around them, directly due to their incompetent decision making. You have to hand it to them...

Obviously this thread is just bait to get people fired up.

The answer is that for the last few years it's been the 777, before that back to the time when dinosaurs roamed the earth it was the 400.

The pilots who have it best with CX.
Those within a year of retirement and those who have given their 90 day notice.

I think you and to some extent me have done all the firing up for one day.

Management pilots have it the best.

Choose your trips,
Choose your days off,
Shaft your former mates.

That is until you leave and have no friends.

They don't leave. They remain in the Hotel California as sim instructors. They keep their small circle of management mates, they can hold court in the Gay Bar with young 'Brushwingers' working for peanuts hanging on their every word after a session in the lurching box as they reminisce how they did it on the TriStar, beer money...maybe some consultancy work...what's not to like?

The best #1: Great schedule with lots of days off at the cost of not making quite as much as others.

The best #2: Making the most money for the least amount of work days.

The best #3: Making the most money but at the price of a busy schedule.
