As title says, I am wondering if anyone has converted a UAE GCAA ATPL to the HKCAD successfully?

With thanks

Thanks for your response, I came to UAE 6 years ago with a CASA CPL and converted it to a GCAA CPL, couple of years in UAE and I took their ATPL exam which back then consisted of just 1 exam based on all the subjects combined.. it has since been changed to cover all 14 exams like EASA.

I have emiled the [email protected] to try and see what license I should convert. (Potentially)

If it's CASA they want I only have CPL, never did the ATPL subjects. So would be much better to get the GCAA converted if at all possible.

Worst case scenario I had to convert the CASA CPL, what is procedure to gain the HKCAD ATPL? Is there exams for that?

Most agencies require you to convert your original licence. So if yours is, the there should be few problems.
