Onlne Booking with Malaysian airways

I tried to book my seat today inside the 48 hour timeframe.My booking number was not recognised.Tried several times ,no joy and the telephone number given on line is some sort of business number with a premium rate!I guess I will just have to turn up and hope an Aisle seat is available!

Had the same problem myself with the six digit code. It does work if you enter your e-ticket number

PS they changed from five digit booking code to six in June which could be the problem if you booked a long time ago

US number is toll free.

This appears to be true in KL as well.

Perhaps try Skype or some such, and call them overseas for pennies instead.

There does appear to be a problem with recognising the updated 6 digit PNR if the ticket was purchased before June.
I have experienced this problem on a KUL to SIN return last week.
My partner's flights, booked a couple of weeks ago, checked in without problem.
