I came upon an advert regarding a European airlines conducting open days in Vietnam, Indonesia and Singapore. See below.

Wizz Air Pilot Recruitment Roadshow in Asia, 23-29 August 2017

Are you a pilot currently working in Asia but seeking for new career opportunities in Europe? Do you have the ambition to become an airline captain but you never got the chance? Now we are recruiting experienced pilots holding EASA-license to join our Flight Crew and fly one of the youngest Airbus A320/321 fleet in Europe.

23 August: Hanoi – Vietnam

Starting time: 9am Venue:

24-25 August: Ho Chi Minh – Vietnam

Starting time: 9am Venue:

26 August: Jakarta – Indonesia

Starting time: 9am

27-29 August: Singapore

Starting time: Individual start
Venue: Grand Mercure Singapore Roxy and CAE Asian Aviation Centre of Excellence
You can complete your assessment including a simulator check in Singapore from 27-29th August in the CAA Simulator Center, the simulator slots are booked during night hours.

Any ideas who they are targeting? :confused::confused:

No idea who they are targeting... Maybe it a free holiday for the recruitment team. it going to be a a very very light european crowd. the locals will turn up of course..and later be told that they need a EASA license and european passport. hopefully there will be free coffee/tea and cake after the show

indeed... without EASA, there is nothing they can do there
just don't hope for anything free :)
