I'm a very senior citizen (82) planning a trip to the US for three weeks over Christmas/New Year. Any advice on what travel insurance would cover me in the States? I'll probably be flying BA out of Heathrow.

Hello, if, by chance you are a retired member of an
European organisation (EU, council... many more),
You may be able to get inexpensive insurance.
I do do as my medical insurance is covered by my employer (world-wide), so only repatriation is needed.
Maybe a long shot for you. For my long cruise next year I pay
Euro 85 versus UK quote of UKL about 2000.

try SAGA - they seem to cover Senior Citizens pretty well
