Strikemaster operated by Blue Air Training crashed shortly after takeoff from Henderson Executive Airport, NV.

Pilot suffered only minor injuries and no damage to property. Sliding canopy still attached and no sign of ejection seat gun deployed so presumably he stayed strapped in until it came to rest - extremely lucky escape !

Blue Air Training has a DoD contract to provide JTAC training.

Phew! Just stopped in time; don't think he was going to make it under that culvert.

I've seen some video pics taken from (what I presume was ...) a police helicopter or a news helicopter ... aircraft was N605GV.
