That one looks sufficiently bent to write it off. Just curious, if the golf course was an option why you'd choose to land in the street instead of a long stretch of flat grass.

With the floats popped I'd speculate he was going for the LA River...

The LA "river" usually doesn't hold a heck of a lot of water, especially at this time of the year.

No doubt! Can't think of another reason to do it, though. Maybe they were armed and the switch got hit by accident when they hit? Just speculating...

He did a good job of stopping behind the STOP sign on that intersection. I guess when a Robbie lands on the road it's then subject to the road rules :D

Not that I am a fan of Robbos I have to say you have a very good point !!!! It's very obvious what he and crab are ......and we have all paid for them to fly !!!!

I wonder of this is related to the latest Lycoming service bulletin? Looking at the blades it looks like there was a fair bit of cone angle. I reckon the collective might be bent upwards as well. Lol.
