I have built 2 static based flight simulators based on a 737NG and an A320 using real cockpits.
I want to get them registered as FSTD's with the CAA, but I am looking for an FSTD engineer or anyone that has been through this process to get a simulator approved.
Can any one help?
Please don't refer me to the regulations and associated documents, as I have them coming out of my ears at the moment!
I need someone who has been through the process and can guide me through a new application.
Many thanks, in anticipation?

I'm assuming they're "amateur" built?
I had no idea they could even be approved.
And maybe they can't.

FSTD II MCC

Then you require a QTG and under regulations a non complex CMS in place before you can get it qualified.

Once you have an qualified FSTD you are playing with the big boys and welcome to their costs and regulations.

BTW I currently operate multiple qualified FSTDs and have qualified getting on for 50 over the years

Many thanks for your help, however I am looking for someone a bit closer to home UK North west to physically assist me in this "mammoth" task?
Thanks again.

If you send me a PM I think I can point you in the direction of someone who may be able to help.
