I'd never seen this before, didn't realise it was based on the Dauphin rear half:

Fairly jerky control inputs going on - is it unstable, or just a student pilot?

It is more than the rear of a Dauphin, it has the same transmission, rotor head and blades. Basically it is an AS155/ Z-9 with a skinny fuselage. It has the Chinese version of the Arriel engines.

AC - yes, I thought the same thing considering how stable a standard 365 is - I wondered if he was struggling for power.

Thanks for the extra info, Nick. I had wondered if they were the same engines but built domestically.
