Could anyone confirm if there is an online version of PANS OPS, or maybe someone will be able to answer my question?
I am trying to find out what the time limit is for establishing two way comms with your arriving airfield (when procedural ATC exists and you are IFR) and the time limit for reaching your assigned level for the hold prior to an instrument let down. I have heard 10 mins and 5 mins and definitions like 'Holding area' being mentioned. I would be very grateful if anyone could explain what the rules are!
Any references or quotes would be fantastic.
