I don't usually comment on accidents, but was interested to read of the circumstances in this 'crash' (http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/93933435/Crashed-helicopter-found-near-Lake-Taupo).
It seems to me the pilot did a remarkably good job under unusual circumstances. Judging by the rotor blades it was relatively intact on the ground before the fire consumed most of it.
Can't see a 'have a beer' emoticon but I reckon he deserves one :ok:
