After reading the description of the programme, I realise it will cost $3000 non-refundable application fee and other additional costs including IELTS test and basic medical check. But after spending so much money, offer is not guaranteed - actually even the initial interview is not guaranteed. :ooh: Do you guys think it is that worth a try?

3k is for sure reasonable. Just checked on british council, IELTS costs you 1930 and will be increasing in JUL2017. It also includes a testing fee with the flight school which it claims to be the first round.

I think the problem to all is that the timing for the payment. Some think its not worth at all, why am I paying for this uncertainty, I'm not even guaranteed for an interview or offer? why should I?

I will put it in this way. We all will be confident and well prepared before hitting the apply button, why 3k stops you from acheiving your dream.

Its like its just 3k.

Got an email to complete the application before the 21st or I'd be cut, and so I did. Didn't hear from them til yesterday asking for my Hong Kong Permanent ID, around the same time my status went from under review to just blank! So I'm keen to hear from them quite soon.

Also, from this thread, am I to assume that Skytest UK testing will be the best practice measure considering it was what dragonair used?
