Those who keep an eye on the business news will know the woes of Seven West Media, which owns Ch7 as well as WA Newspapers (The West Australian and The Sunday Times) and also pays the bills for AirlineRatings, through some amazing piece of salesmanship by GT.

SevenWest's 1H17 profit fell 90% compared to 1H16 an the company remains at the centre of takeover speculation.

Now GT has been called back to the offices of WA Newspapers to once again work his 9-5 there instead of from home (anybody following GT on Facebook will have seen the post about this, but I'm amazed that he has an actual office there, with big glass door and everything!), and return to his job description of doing sub-editing as well as writing beyond the 'aviation' round (aka schilling for QF).

Take this alongside the financial problems of SevenWest, looming cutbacks and a possible takeover and writing is on the wall for AirlineRatings.

I don't know who is more stupid or devoid of knowledge, him or the idiots that actually pay him a wage. The classic example of someone who thinks he's an aviation expert because he once saw an aeroplane and has more front than Myer in putting himself forward as an 'expert' with a straight face. Some people have an endless supply of gall.
