Hello, I will be deployed in a foreign country for aerial work. I got an EASA class 1 medical. I know that on the Part Med its written you can do a revalidation up to 45 days before expiry. Since i will be deployed abroad for more then 6 months, was wandering if it was possible to revalidate the medical way before so that it does't expiry when i'm away. Is there a special request to be made?
Expiry 29 sept 2017, was wondering if i could revalidate it in June or July. Departure start of August.

Cheers

Your AME (aviation medical examiner) should be able to tell you.

You can renew/revalidate it early but it will reset the calendar date to the date of your medical so that you lose the whole of the unexpired time.
