British European has been criticised by the advertising watchdog for claims it made about cheap fares.

At long last BE is trying to beat the 'low cost' airlines at their own game. Good Luck to them I say. I've heard that it was one of the so called 'low cost' airline that complained to Advertising Standards Authority.
Perhaps they are getting worried that the mainline premium airlines are matching them on price with a better deal for passengers at the same time. to me, BE are simply following the example set by the 'low cost' arilines in their advertising.

A few weeks ago, I was dead chuffed to get 3 returns BHD-BHX with BE for only £39.50RTN all in. So much for the "low costs", none of them could match the price, never mind my preferred route.
Nuff said.;)
