Dc 3 at Chivenor today, parked up, duty rumour its on saunton sands saturday for film shoot?..anybody now the gen?

The Dak was being filmed landing on a North Devon beach today and the film is entitled The Guernsey.

Must have been great to see - some excellent photos. Does anyone know who owns/operates the aircraft - I suppose it's more correct to call it a C 47 in that guise?

It is N147DC, a C-47A belonging to ACES HIGH. It passed overhead here in Westbury on Thursday afternoon at 2000ft heading to the southwest. Nice to see.
