The spoilers should be armed for landing and will automatically deploy with weight on the main gear and thrust levers at/near idle. In this case it looks like they started to deploy and then retracted during the bounce and deployed again on the second touchdown.

Never fail to be impressed by the 747 and i'm amazed it bounced, would have thought
any possibility of upward motion would have been eliminated by that impact.
According to rumors on another forum this aircraft was operating again shortly afterwards.
Surprised there was no damage.

Combination of AUW vs G on touchdown will govern the conduct during the subsequent "Heavy Landing Check" that should be carried out after such an arrival. Straightforward plot on a graph. I did a real bone cruncher in a lightweight 747F and it turned out to be a non event (I phoned the Haeco guys after they'd done the check.)

I'm amazed that the aircraft didn't need a total gear change after that impact ,that wasn't a landing it was a crash the only thing that stopped the aircraft going down was the ground

No it wasn't a crash. Not even close. You should see what Boeing do to them at Moses Lake. That was a non event by comparison.

Jesus wept.....that would loosen all your fillings.....bit late on the round out hodgkins. +2g I seem to recall it was Hoskins, rather than Hodgkins, who was a bit late on the round out. ;)

Good thing it wasn't an MD-11. It might have lost a wing and flipped over.

Looks like the aircraft landed slightly left wing down, I'm just surprised the left main gear didn't vacate through the top of the wing!
That gear must have copped all the initial impact even if just for the shortest time.
