Source of 'Dunkirk' film aircraft

Does anyone know where the film got their planes from? If one source, or several?

Haven't seen it but assume Spitfires and 109s? I would imagine that in the UK that the various Duxford collections might have been involved.

However, the only pilots I can see in the IMDB crew list (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5013056/fullcredits?ref_=tt_cl_sm#cast) are Dan Friedkin and Craig Hosking.

Dan is well known in the US warbird world and usually appears at Flying Legends at Duxford.

Craig is another American who, some may recall, used to display a Pitts with a second undercarriage unit on the top wing with which he would land and take off inverted.

Excellent news, though shame about the Buchon which simply looks wrong. Wrong wings, Wrong nose Wrong engine. It's not as if there aren't flying 109 Es around. Well there were last year anyway.

They also used the Bristol Blenheim Mk.I from Duxford and a Yak-52 that has been modified to serve as a Spit lookalike for inflight cockpit shots. More details here: Scramble Messageboard ? CGI is cheaper and more accurate to the date. The Spitfires at Dunkirk were pure Mk.1s and there aren't many of them still flying. I've seen a couple of 109s flying in Germany, but they were a Fritz and a Gustav. I saw the Gustav again at Duxford - a Bf109g-4 in beautiful condition.
