I'm looking for an internet forum for outback fliers. Something similar to the floatplane forums in North America. Anybody have a good recommendation?

You could start an Outback Flyers thread in this forum, similar to our Newbie & Flying Training Advice (http://www.pprune.org/pacific-general-aviation-questions/521632-newbie-flying-training-advice-merged.html) thread which has been running since August 2013, or our PNG Ples Bilong Tok Tok (http://www.pprune.org/pacific-general-aviation-questions/152566-png-ples-bilong-tok-tok.html)which has been running since November 2004, or our The Home of Photos in Dunnunda! (http://www.pprune.org/pacific-general-aviation-questions/238969-home-photos-dunnunda-mk-i.html) which dates back to August 2006.

You may also find bush flying topics in our Canada (http://www.pprune.org/canada-42/) forum.

An Aussie Outback Flyers forum would struggle to survive as outback and bush aviation has been decimated to the point of near extinction. Certainly there would be insufficient interest or forum activity in a dedicated bush flying forum within our Aussie section of PPRuNe.

We have a number of Outback and Bush Pilots very active in this forum over many years, not necessarily only on bush flying specific topics but also all the non bush flying specific topics which affect their interest and participation in aviation.

There's a facebook page - Bush Flyers Down Under. Fair bit of activity on it.
