Hi, If for an ILS approach, TDZ RVR drops below 550m, an approach ban exists for those not certified below. However, if it's a non-precision approach, the ceiling is crucial, not the visibility so I was wondering if an approach ban also exists for NPAs if either ceiling or visibility drops below the minima stated on the approach plates or if an aircraft still could legally perform the approach down to the MDA/MAP to either land/go around?

Depends what it says in the company Ops Manual; it's not up to ATC or the airport operator to decide.

The approach ban applies to the NPA as well. ICAO Annex 6.
