Heard the word, that they have successfully done their proving flight and AOC granted? Another new player?

They're hiring!

Could be an interesting punt for someone who knows they will be leaving CX anyway.

Imagine working for an actual Chinese air carrier.... minus the big pay cheque.
Would be an interesting punt adjusting your life style due to a pay cut.

Alternatively, it could also be a very quick command. That would equip a lot of people with what they need to go elsewhere.

Command upgrade for a new company is always unknown , is there a policy for the minimums to uograde here?

Who knows. Usually these things work out either very well or very poorly for the first sets of crew.

If you know you're going to leave at some point, you may be game to roll the dice.

Not really a new company. Hong Kong Airlines are hiving off their cargo division as a stand-alone carrier. Their A330-200Fs will be transferred across to the 'new' airline. One of them has already has the new name painted on the side.

Air Hong Kong, Hong Kong Airlines, Hong Kong Express and Hong Kong Air Cargo; who is who?
