Two young girls on a day out and about in Mexico, they had been to the local horseracing and on the way home they stopped at Chihuahua Airport where they decided to take selfies

Apparently they climbed onto a truck and went ahead and took selfies, what they did not realise is that the truck was close to the aircraft and the girls were struck by a wing and killed

Two teenagers were killed when they tried to make nice selfies at an airport near the Mexican Chihuahua. According to local media, the girls came into collision with an aircraft. The heavy blow was fatal to them.

Nitzia Mendoza Corral (18) and Clarissa Morquecho Miranda (17) had first been Saturday afternoon to a horse race, before being moved to the airport in Chihuahua. They climbed into the back of a van, right next to the poor shielded runway stood and took some selfies.

Some witnesses would have warned the girls that the arch was dangerous to take pictures from that place. But they would have beaten the warnings in the wind. Moments later a light aircraft passed. One of the wings collided at high speed against the heads of the girls. The two teenagers were killed.
