Washing the daughter's car yesterday, well who else will ? And looked up to identify the source of a noise, on a Sunday.......


What looked like a Voyager tanker with 4 fast jets in close proximity (2 behind each wing) trailing two more FJs a mile or so behind.


On a Sunday ? Path was North over East Yorkshire. Any ideas who what or why ?

There have been several USAF fighter drags recently. One yesterday around lunchtime was six Oregon ANG F-15s returning homewards from a recent deployment.

Another eastbound due today with six or eight F-15s being delivered to Saudi Arabia.

El Bunto is correct, there were 2 KC-10s quite close together yesterday afternoon with the 6 Oregon F-15s on their way home. I presume that they were heading North(ish) when you saw them?
