ATR42 type rating [Archive]

Hi!

Any suggestions on getting a self-sponsored FAA ATR42 type rating? Cost is a BIG factor!

Well...

Did mine at the Flight Safety International base in Hobby Airport, Houston, Texas.

Damn fine training and a great bunch of people. Dunno what it cost, company paid!

Thanks for the reply! I called them, costs about $15000 for a FO training and $17000 for PIC type rating...
