Swissport.

If you're on Facebook, look up LHR: airside. Some useful hints and cool photos.

Hi guys,
I'm thinking to apply for the customer service position in Brisbane, Australia with Menzies soon and heard that there will be math test???

Does anyone got experiences with them?
What kind of math test do they do? something about a time differences I guess?

Thanks in advance.

I know it is probably too late, but it will be basic numeracy. To make sure you can perform routine calculations quickly and accurately. Both for reconciliation of passengers (if I need to board 300 people, plus 6 infants, and I have 8 piles of twenty boarding passes and 16 loose boarding passes, how many are yet to board the aircraft) as well as understanding UTC (If the flight arrives at 0300Z, and BNE is GMT +10 what time does it arrive?).

How did your interview go?

Just wondering if Gatwick Ground Services now handle Vueling, Aer Lingus and Iberia Express at Gatwick as well as British Airways. Would seem to make sense as GCS is 100% owned by BA which in turn is owned by IAG. Any information appreciated.

Not yet, GGS still 100% BA. All other IAG is still with Menzies.

Still no sign of another major handler going into BHX, NCL to take on the almost monopoly of Swissport?

In BHX Azzura Premier Handling have started operating:
Second Ground Handling Company Introduced At Birmingham Airport :: Routesonline (http://www.routesonline.com/airports/2368/birmingham-airport-uk/news/273532/second-ground-handling-company-introduced-at-birmingham-airport/)

Azzurra Handling were the former Alitalia ground handling division in LHR which was sold to the GH Italia Group around 2013.

The only ones not mentioned are cargo and eastern. I'm not 100% on cargo but pretty sure most/all (except BA) are swissport. Eastern is swissport for the IOM flight (until it becomes flybe I guess) Menzies for their flybe flights.

Any mistakes or missed airlines let me know.

Jet2 confirmed self handling at both STN and BHX.

That will be LBA, MAN, EMA, BHX & STN in the UK as well as TFS fully self handled.

I've heard negatives. Brand new equipment getting damaged. Bag drop agents must stay at their post- if they called over by passenger they get a telling off. No sitting.
