Today's BA flight to San Francisco has been cancelled as a result of a mouse being found on the aircraft literally minutes before departure.
Muslim mouse?

Looks like the commander acted i.a.w. with the regs (yes, there is a regulation to exactly cover this!!!)

I suspect in the current climate maybe BA didn't want to test the forgiveness of SFO Port Authority.

You can't take a piece of fruit into the land of the free, imagine what they'd do to you for bringing livestock!!!!

Mice like to chew on things. Aeroplanes do not react well to vital bits being chewed on. Particularly at 40,000 feet above N. Canada.

Good call.

It isn't he has been found on board, it is what has he been up to before he was found, when you see wiring that they have gnawed on you can understand why, they seem to have a thing for the insulation, plus their dropping's and wee are corrosive.

Very good and sensible call :ok:

I can remember a time when BA flew Tridents, rarther than Rodents.

Was the aircraft equipped for Cat III?

Perhaps the Cat Mk III could have helped with the Mouse Mk I?????
