There is an online training program you have to complete to obtain the permit. I used have a link, but retired and didn't keep all my work product. Your handler should have it.

JW Marriott is great, in town very smart.

I didn't fly the trip but one if my crews did. The only notable feature is, while VFR, there is persistent scattered deck that makes identifying the correct turn point tricky. Airport was fine, very performance limited at 10,000'. Fuel is a consideration, not always available there, besides you have to enter in Lima, clear CIQ, then fly over the 30 minutes.

Here's a two-part link to UVAir's blog, be sure to link to part two for specific Cuzco info.

Other than flight manual procedures for dealing with pressurisation when landing and departure from high elevations the rest is pretty straightforward after reading the online details....all the likely gotchas are covered.

All ground handling went smoothly when we visited a couple of years ago.

Enjoy the food - it's great, especially Alpaca. Buy some of their wool also - it really does keep you very warm.
