Ørland is a small airport (and military air base) in Norway, near-ish Trondheim. Until late last year, Air Norway flew to Oslo, and then onto Aalborg in Denmark; there are no other routes. Many of the passengers from Ørland were military.
The Air Norway site shows the route to be suspended for 3 months while the runway is resurfaced. Ørland airport doesn't have its own website. It seems quite odd that an airline would simply shut down operations for 3 months. Does anyone know the back story and whether this route (and airline !) will actually reopen, or if the suspension will likely just become permanent ?

Air Norway is a virtual airline.

Flights are operated by Danish operator North Flying, hence the weekly positioning to/from Aalborg (for which tickets are sold). North Flying has a lot of activities, so it should not bother them too much.
