Could anyone suggest a free android tablet app to show Word, or Office?

Thanks, Bob

I use WPS Office. It loads and edits Office documents, at least the older kind (I know it opens .doc, not sure about .docx).

There may be some in-app purchases (not sure as I've never looked), but the basic app is free.

Yes, a week late but this may help future readers of this thread. :hmm:

You can get Microsoft Word for the Android (https://products.office.com/en-us/mobile/office-mobile-apps-for-android) and at the time of posting this, it is FREE, well sort of. It does have limited features which are unlocked if you purchase an Office 365 subscription however I personally wouldn't as the basic version was enough to create, open and edit .DOCX files.

Alternatives are the LibreOffice (https://www.libreoffice.org/download/android-viewer/) and Open Office (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.andropenoffice&hl=en). Also found one called Kingsoft Android office (http://www.kingsoftstore.com/kingsoft-office-android) which I had not seen previously so I can't comment on how good it is but if the reviews are to be believed, it's fairly good. :ok:
