There seem to be plenty of 400's out and about (http://flightaware.com/live/aircrafttype/DH8D) as well as 300's (http://flightaware.com/live/aircrafttype/DH8C)....

I believe it is only affecting the Q400's

My source says meeting with CASA late this afternoon. Would not elaborate on why. Schedule shows cancelled DPO and LST flights today and into tomorrow.

There was a disabled Q400 on 16L Sydney on Sunday afternoon. Caused a few delays for inbound aircraft. Might have something to do with this.

Here's a link to the yarn from the Toowoomba paper

Newspaper noting that it is due to an inspection oversight directive from Bombardier. By looks of it only a small number affected and already being put back in service.

Well done to QF, internally grounded, reported and returned to service with minimal interruption

I am always interested to know the extent of delays caused by a disabled aircraft. Does anyone know how long the delays were?
