Let the scare mongering begin.

Aircraft movements particularly.

KA to be regional with 330s to focus on competing with LCCs

CX 777/A50s to be long haul no first class.

Freighters going to air Hong Kong.

Anybody explain what "digital focus" is?

Is that like pulling the finger out???

Too little too late Rup.

LapSap

Too little too late Rup.

Not at all. Rup is ".......confident that we have the right strategy going forward............."

Exactly the same as a politician saying I have every confidence in my right honourable colleague = he's f**ked.

Separately, anyone else see the irony in this big drive to register and complete the new "performance platform" just at a point where many incumbents may not even be in the same posts next week/month. Mind you perhaps your goals and aspirations will remain the same regardless. Working for a decent employer?

The situation requires Management - therein lies the problem. "Same Team, Same Dream"
doesn't ring true and never did.
"Penny wise - pound foolish"
LCC here we go...........

A full service airline doing a LCC spin off?

Brilliant!!

Those have always worked out well.

EFB, CMP, LCC

So our cost base is too high . Well, who's fault Is that?...............( management )
Who is responsible for the fuel hedging debacle?.......................( management )
who is responsible for the awful industrial relations?.................. ( management )
Who cut the first class product, which is now
so bad that no-one wants to pay for it?....................................... ( management )
Who pays themselves inordinately high salaries and bonuses ... (management )
Who is responsible for the 50% share price drop........................ ( management )

Anyone seeing a trend developing here 🙂?

From being an industry leader to scraping the barrel, well played gentlemen...

So the only difference is they willl do exactly what they are doing/done as mentioned above but more aggressively.

I love the way they are all smiling & waving for the camera like idiots, while their employer is steering them towards a giant iceberg !

$13,000,000,000 !!!! They threw away 20 years worth of solid profit on fuel hedging in just over a year, but as long as we all look pretty for the camera everything is OK.

All the bunny ears, flash mobs and Betsy awards in the world can't save an airline that is making these sort of moves !

Lets have another "employee engagement survey", that should fix things up !

Stevie, I am a retiree and eager to know the latest change. What's the announcement today? Thanks.

The 'change' is that for once, our management is accepting and acknowledging that all the big stuff-ups with the company are due to their own incompetence......oh, wait...

EFB, CMP, LCC

Three pillars of success.

You forgot to mention the 4th pillar (according to the latest e-mail)

4. High performance culture

This pillar focuses on creating a signature employee experience, keeping our people informed, engaged, recognised and inspired, and creating opportunities for colleagues to develop and progress.

Oh, yeah... opportunities to develop and progress (LOL!... such as in-seniority cross-type transfers?) I feel so engaged, recognized and inspired!

Blow this flying stuff I'm going to have a go at managing.

Here's what I'd do!

Firstly, we need to fungibly reconceptualize tactical methodologies and objectively restore vertical catalysts for change, include dynamically matrix cutting-edge imperatives without forgetting to dramatically seize distributed metrics and of course dynamically innovate team building collaboration and idea-sharing, and for staff completely cultivate diverse methods of empowerment while at the same time uniquely leverage existing vertical potentialities.

Thank you.

Think I feel a bonus coming on!

I think I'm going to say "Time to Win!" instead of "take off", when pushing the throttles up.

So much more "lit", as my teens would say.
