An interesting 'round the world' documetary, featuring original footage and reports by a female journalist on board. Well worth the 1 hour 22 mins of watching IMHO :)

Graf Zeppelin LZ127 Airship 21500 Mile Voyage Around The World
Includes rare high quality black & white footage from places around the globe just before the great depression. A brief glimpse into the buzzling life of great cities before things went down hill. Narration based on diaries, letters and articles by Lady Grace Drummond Hay, one of the 20 passengers.

I believe I saw this on BBC 4 a while back. If it is the same it is fascinating and I will definitely happily watch it again!

BBC 4 makes some really excellent programmes, history, arts, architecture, railways, aircraft, ships, sciences.....

Extremely interesting. The ground handling always looks a very precarious procedure.

However, only 40 years later Neil Armstrong was walking on the moon.
