Small airport in Romania
Wizz suspended flights originally for 2 weeks last November while runway works were due to take place. Suspension was extended to 08 Jan 2017, and now will last to 25 Sep 2017.
There is clearly something going on - am wondering if the airport is broke, the local Govt won't pay, the runway is not economically repairable (similiar to Gothenburg City in Sweden a few years ago), the airport is being used as a political football or something else.
Anyone with personal knowledge (not just Google) care to comment ?
