In the wake of the recent A321 runway excursion at Kalingrad, TASS is reporting the discovery of a suspicious object at the airport. No immediate connection to the previous incident:

KALININGRAD. January 5. /TASS/. A suspicious object has been found at Khrabrovo Airport in Russia’s westernmost city of Kaliningrad. The object has been transferred to the police and there has been no need for the evacuation of passengers, airport directorate spokeswoman Natalia Gritsun told TASS on Thursday.

"There are now a lot of people in the airport passenger terminal and an impression may be created that some are being taken out of the building but this is not so," the spokeswoman said.

The suspicious object has been found by the airport’s staff and now the police are finding out what it is. Security has been tightened at the airport passenger terminal. There has been no need for the evacuation of people and the air harbor continues receiving and dispatching flights, she said.

Seven passenger planes from Moscow and St. Petersburg have arrived at Khrabrovo Airport by now and none of them have left in the opposite direction yet. Also, about five planes are waiting for their landing in Khrabrovo and several more airliners are en route to Kaliningrad, the spokeswoman said.

Khrabrovo Airport was closed on Wednesday due to a plane incident.

it gets better and better,- The West to Blame for Russian Plane Crash Chaos, says Security Official

https://regnum.ru/news/polit/2224275.html

The airport has been under construction for over 10 years. Many expected that the 2018 World Cup – to be held in cities across Russia, including Kaliningrad – would force the local authorities to finish the job. However, construction work has not sped up, despite direct orders from President Vladimir Putin

Sources close to security agencies are generally the people they pick up off the streets like Pimps.................... mind you that sums up most journalists.
Difference between a Pimp and a Journalist is that Pimp is usually better dressed.

The West to Blame for Russian Tu-154 of Alrosa returning to Mirniy (MJZ) with one engine inop, says Security Official :D

Update: Aurora Airlines has denied that one of its planes nearly collided with another aircraft – let alone a NATO military plane. The airline's comments directly contradict earlier reports by the Interfax news agency, which cited a source within Russian security services.

Would someone kindly tell me which parties made knowingly or unknowingly or unwittingly false statements here and why?
:ok:

If only the Russian media could see how WEAK, INFANTILE and PATHETIC they portray their country as by blaming the West for everything. It does provide us in the West with a damn good laugh though! :)

Dear compatriot! Can you stop please drag loads of political bull**** in any technical thread you attend? Including fake one like in #10 post?

There is Jet blast (http://www.pprune.org/jet-blast-16/)for it.

Actually the 2nd one in #10 is TRUE, and the one in #5 is also TRUE.
They were both taken from Moscow Times, which is actually one of the world's quality journals.
I assumed this whole thread is a giant wind-up.

It appears clear there are lots of people in KGD with egg on their faces.
They appear to be winding everyone else up, by claiming things which are to say the least "economical with the truth".
Hey nothing is what it seems!

I don't believe half the  coming out, after nearly crashing yet another airliner at that airport.

It seems pretty par for the course after the KD avia hallucination and their subsequent withdrawal of licence to fly.

Oh & yes I have been repeated lied to by AFL as well as S7, Tsxxaero, Air Utka many many times in the past.
Do they give a ?

Of course not, it's normal behaviour for them.
