Hey guys. We are having a discussion in a pilot group about a very simple subject.

It used to be that if u couldn't maintain your altitude and could not reach ATC, then you should deviate 30 deg, 5 nm right of track centerline in Chinese airspace.

According to latest update in our Route Manual (jeppesen / Lido) It doesn't seem to exist anymore.

Anybody flying often in those areas could verify that the procedure has been revoked?

Thanks

It's still in the current Jeppesens, bizarrely to my mind, in the Eastern European Airway Manual and not the Pacific one. It's on page 490 of the edition dated 5th Jan 2017
