Hi all , this may be a very dumb question but if someone was interested in freight flyin , which companies would be the best ones to aim towards , after finishing MCC/JOC ? (Worldwide)

That doesn't mean he shouldn't "aim towards" them!

Intruder, I wish the topic starter all the best when applying. European pilots have tried to get a job in Europe with FEDEX and UPS before. I never heard anybody being successful.

Probably not successful if they apply direct from Europe. However, if other airlines and a US visa are in the path, it's possible. Considering much of the FedEx hiring is now for their Cologne base, I suspect it would be easier.

Atlas and other US freight carriers take many Europeans. Getting a work visa may be burdensome, but not impossible...

If your future US employer is willing to be your sponsor or if you are very lucky to obtain a green card. This will only happen if your employer can't get skilled employees in the States. Best chances I guess, get married with somebody living in the States.

Atlas and other US freight carriers take many Europeans

I speak to pilots from Kalitta, Atlas, Polar and Southern from time to time, who are operating in and out of Europe. Have so far only spoken to US-citizens. (non of them Europeans). If what you are saying is true, US carriers can (especially FEDEX and UPS) expect to get inundated with applications from European pilots.

As I said, I have not heard of European pilots being able to work for US carriers with European bases. I encourage the US carriers to do so, that can only improve the terms and conditions of the European freight carriers.

I work with English, German, Italian, Greek, and Spanish citizens. Some have 2 passports. I haven't asked any of them how they got their US visas or passports.

Not real familiar with the freight world but FYI...this from FedEx pilot employment website(haven't checked on UPS or other US freight carriers):

"Candidates for jobs involving handling or access to U.S. mail cannot be considered for employment if they have resided outside the U.S., Guam or Puerto Rico for more than (6) six months during the last (5) years prior to today's date, other than the following verifiable exceptions: active duty in the U.S. Uniformed Service; trailing spouse or dependent of someone working for the U.S. government (military or civilian); missionary; student attending school in a foreign country; Peace Corps participant; employee of a U.S. based employer/company or other extraordinary circumstances."
