Joining the RAF?? [Archive]

Hi all,

I will hopefully be the holder of a JAA ATPL by the end of the year by that time i will be 20/21, i know that the RAF stop selection after 23, so my question is would i be a good candidate for selection into the RAF??

Any info greatly appreciated!

The RAF probably won't even bat an eyelid at the fact that you have an ATPL. They will be more interested in your academic qualifications, your pilot aptitude and your officer potential. Not necessarily in that order though!!

I do know someone with an ATPL and 800 hours going through training right at this moment though so good luck!
