Flight radar 24 just shown an Air China 747 going in to Las Palmas, Gran Canaria. Is this correct?

The Chinese President has been visiting Ecuador, Peru and Chile in the last week or so.

letsgoflying, Las Palmas is often used as a transit stop for traffic from Latin America to Eurasia. A lot of Embraer stuff gets delivered through there. It's like a southern version of Shannon.
