I'm beginning flying training mid next year and Im in the process of getting everything together including a CASA class one medical. (Im told to get this as early as possible due to CASA wait times)

Just wondering if any members on here can explain what the class one medical entails? I have read what I can online however it mostly seems to be medical lingo (DAME handbook) or FAA/ CAA information which doesnt seem relevant.

Also want to know if a high bmi strikes you out of a class one medical immediately or if it is just monitored?

Any insight would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Just go and do your Medical! All will be revealed. There's nothing you can do about it.
