Looks like I picked the wrong week to give up Crystal Meth...

Interesting though that the anonymous source who is apparently an employee assumes that it is a controller who dropped it.. despite the fact that I'm guessing more than half the people that work at bne centre are not controllers and many of them aren't subject to random testing programs.

But who needs facts when it comes to journalism, right?

That explains why we didn't get any holding going into YBBN last month!

Especially the fact that - according to the article - it was in a central area stairwell.

One would think that AirServices would be putting out a media release saying that it was not found in an active controller area, its somewhere that everyone can access, lets not jump the gun, controllers are drug tested and wait for the AFP to sort it out.

But management silence on the matter conveniently condones negative public perception and suspicion of controllers which is mighty handy in the case of ongoing protest at redundancies.....

ICE is rife everywhere regardless of industry. Drug tests will soon find the users if there are any.

I wish this were the case. It ain't. I work for a pretty good sized multi-national, and can count on one hand the number of times I have been drug tested since I started with them 7 years ago. And this is despite seeing several colleagues get the boot over the last year or two, suggesting that, just perhaps, there actually is a drug issue in the workplace...

I would gladly pee in the cup or have a breath test before signing on every day, but they won't do that, because they know they would lose too many people. And this is for safety-critical roles...

maybe if they were all on coke, terminal space would be as efficient as the Oshkosh tower.

From now on, every time I hear "Cancel the speed restriction below one zero tousand" I will be having a bit of a chuckle.
