I am looking to do my PPL writtens in one hit and due to the fact that my motor car rating is out of date (speeding) and am looking to do this some where in or around London. Does anyone know of any approved groundschool instructors and if the come highly recommended or not.

C-mob, a little off the topic but be carefull with those speeding fines. Loss of vehicle licence either through speeding or DUI can come up during employment background checks.

I'm not interested in flying professionally, just for fun as I already have the best job in the world, but cheers anyway. A years ban for 12 points is that fair?!?

Buy yourself the "PPL Confuser" for£20 and learn the standard answers to the standard questions, and save yourself groundschool instructor fees.
It even explains the reason for the answers.
