HIYA
DURING MY LAST CPL OPPS EXAM WHICH I FAILED
A QUESTION CAME UP REGUARDING FIRE IN AN A/C TOILET AND THE TYPE OF EXTINGUISHING AGENT OR AGENTS TO BE USED.
HAS ANYBODY CAME ACROSS THIS QUESTION AND IF SO WHAT IS THE ANSWER.
ALSO WITH REGUARDS TO OPPS CAN A MEL BE LESS RESTRICTIVE THAN AMMEL .

I have feedback that says.....
If you have a fire in a toilet, you use all available fire extinguishers in sequence......

Although the Waste bin is protected by a heat activated fire extinguisher (water, CO2????)

The MEL is established by the operator approved by the Authority and is based on BUT MUST NOT BE LESS restrictive than the MMEL
