Hi all,

I am planning a holiday in Tasmania early January 2017 and am thinking of renting a C172 for a day to do some flying.

For those familiar with Tasmania, do you have any recommendations / suggestions for nice destinations, scenic routes etc.

Note that I will be based in Hobart and due to other committments cannot devote more than a day to the flying.

Any suggestions much appreciated.

Thanks

Hobart, Port Arthur/Cape Pillar, South West Cape, up the guts to Cradle Mountain, Wineglass Bay, Maria Isl, Hobart.

Very weather dependant but spectacular scenery.

done the hard work for you :ok:

Neither the East Coast or Southwest will disappoint, but the East can be a bit more weather friendly.

Thanks for the responses. Looks like there is plenty of good flying.
