Somebody found this in the woods in mid Norway. What type of aircraft does this landing light belong to?
It's not one I recognise. How do you know it's a Landing Light? If there are any numbers on it, post those. Part number may help identify type but some lamps are used on several types.

Bulb says landing light. GE4553 28V 250W. No part numbers on housing or other parts.

I can't say what it is from, but I do not think it is off an Airbus or Boeing.

Any parts numbers or info on the otherside? if so a google search should tell you what it is but maybe not what plane uses it.
It looks in very good condition to have fallen from a plane.

4553 is just the lamp. Not seen that housing on any types I've worked on.
Do you have a photo of the backside?

Have not seen anything like that on A320/321/330.
Since found in mid Norway, and looks quite modern; I would guess a military aircraft?
Trying to work out the function of the two small amber lights.

Looks like a sidelight off a skidoo with built in LED indicator.

Aero 1, if you look at the top left corner of the Forum index, there is a button that says "New thread" Click on that button.,
It is considered to be impolite to ask questions of a different topic within a running thread.

The filament is a B747 series wing scan light, from distant memory. No idea about the housing but given it's 28V, I'd guess it has been co-opted into some kind of commercial service.

GE4553 is a common part number for Boeing sealed beam filaments. The housing will narrow it down. There is probably a part number on that. It doesn't look like it is off a 737,747,757,767 or 777 if that narrows it down a bit. I think most of these types use that filament as a runway turnoff light or taxi light, but not in that housing.
