So how does a chap become a bush pilot? I'm UK rated with 5k hours all single. US, Canada, Africa anything will do just so long as there's lots of scenery and some worthwhile flying rather just ferrying some rich prat into a horse/car race

Make a start with Pan-African Airways in Nigeria. They're still flying singles and it's a start. Nigeria is not the most secure place on earth but there's still alot of fun to be had there (though not with Pan-African as you have to live on the Chevron camp). That at least will get you into something different in the world of Afrika which is a very vibrant continent (if not too good for your health!!).

This website may just be of some use to you:

Otherwise maybe the continent-specific forums here at pprune, or else just search google and look for operators.
